Dual plate check valve
is widely specified and has been successfully
used for many years in refineries and petrochemical
plants due to its unique short face to face,
low purchase cost and non-slam principle of
operation. Dual plate check valve's have an
excellent performance reputation in refineries,
petrochemical and process plants.
DPCV
is an improved of the swing check valve. By
splitting the door in two, the mass of the
single disc is greatly reduced. Further improvement
result with torsion springs forcing the double
door to shut off with minimal flow reversal.
This shut of characteristic greatly minimizes
the slam potential as compared to the compensate
for heavier doors and to improve fastest shut-off.

construction to permit low purchase price
and lower cost of installed between flanges,
the DPCV has more rigidity than heavy steel
